There has been a change in the thought process of MBA applicants of today. They feel that one day businesses will come out with their true character and it would not just involve bottom lines and filling the wallets of shareholders. Also Wall Street would not just be judged by fat bonuses but also content of its character.

All this is expected to change in the capitalistic economy of America as a number of MBA admission committees are witnessing an increasing number of applicants who are looking to make a career for themselves in non profit and other non traditional sectors. Increasing number of students are showing interest in microfinance, sustainability and social enterprise.

A number of restaurant supply companies are also benefiting as they are getting business for supplying food and other related equipments to increasing number of social enterprises which are coming up. The mindset of people is definitely changing for the better it seems.
